House of Refuge

House of Refuge is a faith-integrated residential rehabilitation facility in Lekki, Lagos, offering a medically rigorous 12-week treatment programme for individuals recovering from addiction. Founded under the vision of the Freedom Foundation, HOR combines evidence-based clinical practice with a Christian spiritual framework to support holistic recovery.

The programme is led by a multidisciplinary team including a Medical Director, Clinical Lead, counsellors, a nursing officer, social worker, and chaplain. Residents receive individual and group counselling, medical care and detoxification support, pastoral guidance, family therapy, and structured aftercare planning.

HOR operates under the management of Consult For Africa (C4A), which provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership to the institution. The facility is actively recruiting clinical and support staff to expand its capacity and deepen its impact.
